Welcome to the East Bellevue Demonstration Greenway Feedback Questionnaire! We designed the Greenway, located primarily along 166th and 165th avenues, to create a safer, more comfortable corridor for people who walk and bike around the neighborhood. The two-mile long Greenway runs from Southeast 14th Street to Northup Way. Being a “demonstration” project means quick-build, low-cost treatments have been temporarily installed to receive community feedback from those who travel the corridor and live near it. Your responses to the questions here will help us determine whether to keep or refine the treatments recently installed and to further gain a greater understanding for future greenways. This feedback questionnaire site will be available through early 2022.

Greenway Treatments

  • New pavement markings to raise awareness of bicyclists on the corridor
  • Demonstration traffic circles at several intersections
  • Stop sign repositioning at key intersections
  • Wayfinding signs directing people to nearby destinations
  • Speed reduction to 20 mph speed from 25 mph

Project Goals

  • Increasing the number of bicyclists and pedestrians along the corridor
  • Raising awareness to people walking riding bicycles
  • Lowering vehicle speeds along the Greenway route
  • Improving perceived safety along the Greenway route
