Welcome to Bellevue's Great Neighborhoods Program
The Great Neighborhoods program is the City of Bellevue’s process for developing community-driven, neighborhood plans that strengthen an area’s identity and guide future improvements.
Refine Phase: Draft Plan Available for Review
The Eastgate draft neighborhood area plan is available for review. The neighborhood area plan outlines present-day neighborhood conditions, opportunities, challenges, and policies for both areas and reflect community feedback collected over the past ten months. The policies in these plans guide how the city invests in programs, facilities, and partnerships to achieve the community’s vision for growth over the next 10-20 years.
Over the past two months, community members have shared their thoughts on the draft neighborhood vision, policy ideas and urban design opportunities that are foundational to the draft plan. The planning team is summarizing the input into an engagement report anticipated to be shared later in the spring.
