Welcome to Bellevue's Great Neighborhoods Program

The Great Neighborhoods program is the City of Bellevue’s process for developing community-driven, neighborhood plans that strengthen an area’s identity and guide future improvements.

Refine Phase Begins!

We are seeking your input on draft policies for the Eastgate neighborhood area plans before we review them with the Planning Commission in June. Your input shapes the policies that will guide how the city invests in programs, facilities, and partnerships to achieve the community’s vision for growth over the next 10-20 years.

Define Phase Concludes

Over the past two months, community members have shared their thoughts on the draft neighborhood vision, policy ideas and urban design opportunities that are foundational to the draft plan. The planning team is summarizing the input into an engagement report anticipated to be shared later in the spring.

Read the Eastgate Discover Phase Engagement Report to learn more about past community engagement activities, who the City engaged with during this phase, and the City’s efforts to equitably engage the community.

Eastgate and Factoria are adjacent neighborhood areas with shared planning opportunities and community members who identify with both neighborhoods. The joint in-person kick-off event allows for participants to learn about the overall neighborhood area planning process, while also providing an opportunity for them to provide their ideas on opportunities specific to Eastgate and Factoria. The event will be structured to clearly identify how and where community members can learn about and provide feedback on either the Eastgate and Factoria neighborhood area plans.
