The best-trained medics in the world show up in four minutes. Permits for building projects are easily accessed online. City parks and streets are well-maintained. A strong police department keeps the crime rate here low for a city this size.

Bellevue is a growing city with multiple demands on finite resources. The city budget sets forth an operational and capital plan and includes resources needed to provide quality services to the residents and stakeholders of Bellevue, begins to respond to growing urbanization with critical investments, and advances Council’s three-year priorities and Council’s vision, “the City Where You Want to Be.”

Assign resources & Public Safety Experts to develop Strategy, Plans & Budget for greatly improving Firearms Safety across Eastside cities.
Set Public Safety as Top Priority. Get Neighborhood inputs and conduct Public Forums to tell residents what future improvements will be made. Fund a Strategy & Plan to jointly cooperate between neighboring cities, regular communications and tracking of progress.

I like the partnership that the Bellevue Parks Department started with REI at Meydenbauer Park; let's renovate the Clyde Park Boathouse too.

Fully fund full time School Resource Officers in our schools
Currently SRO’s are only in schools 4 days a week, while our students and staff are there 5 days. The safety of our schools should be a priority and SRO’s should be there every day when the school is open
