Housing choice and housing affordability is a top issue for Bellevue residents. People have also expressed an interest in neighborhoods that offer a variety of housing types, allow people to walk to meet a friend or run an errand, support social connection, and enhance sustainability.

Equity is another key issue area for this update. Ensuring that Bellevue can continue to be a place of opportunity where people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds can thrive is something people have said they care about.

Proposed changes in these elements could include:
